The second ORPHEN anime television series continues the adventures of the hotheaded young sorcerer as he travels the countryside working spells and battling fantastical creatures. This time around, Orphen is accompanied by his goodnatured teenage apprentice Majic, the sword-wielding party girl Cleao, and new friend Lycoris, an earnest young woman sent to recruit the talented sorcerer into the Royal Public Order of Knights. Orphen's nemeses come in the form of gigantic monsters conjured up by an evil wizard named Flame Soul, while antagonistic trolls Volcan and Dortin provide some lighthearted comic relief.
