Hatano Kenji brims over with enthusiasm for high speed water lap-races called Monkey Turn and has decided to become a boat racer. More than one year he practised at the Yamato boat racing school. Then he finally has his debut as a boat racer!!! Under his obstinate teacher he fights exerted day by day against his rivalling classmate Horaguchi and many other skilled racers. In order to fulfil the promise he gave his childhood girlfriend, Kenji will keep on dashing across the water!!
