Devilman Live Action Movie

Based on Gô Nagai's manga, about mild-mannered teenager Akira Fudô, who merges with a demon to fight other demons.
Akira Fudo and Ryo Asuka have been best friends since childhood. Ryo's father, Professor Asuka, drills into an underground lake at the South Pole, seeking a new type of energy. But that "new energy" turns out to be demons, intelligent lifeforms that evolve by taking over the bodies of other species .....

This is a big budget adaptation of the Devilman comics and no expense has been spared here at all. The effects are really great and the acting is pretty slick along with a punchy script.
