Tasuke's parents are always traveling around the world, so he leads a pretty boring and lonely life. That is until one day when his father sends him an artifact from China, which makes a goddess appear! Shaolin Shugogetten is dedicated to protecting her master by summoning little spirits each with a unique power. However, Shaolin has a tendency to protect Tasuke when he doesn't actually need protecting--and certainly not the extreme degree of protection she tends to provide! If that isn't enough, a second goddess appears: Ruaan Keikounitten, who can bring inanimate objects to life. Her goal is to make Tasuke happy, in whatever way she sees fit. Neither goddess is accustomed to the 21st century, and end up causing a lot more trouble for Tasuke than "protection" and "happiness"...!
